The human voice is truly the most versatile instrument of music ever created. It is amazing to hear what can be done with only the voice. My dream is to achieve some of the greatest sounds ever, but not allow the processing to remove the "human element." Some of the sounds we record require a second and third listen to actually realize that it is coming from a voice!

We purchased a fantastic microphone (copy of Telefunkin 251) for this project which has really brought special clarity to everything. It is hard to imagine a microphone costing as much as a used automobile.

We are approaching things in a much different manner for this new Acappella CD. We have secured the talents of David Wyatt (Toby Mac's musical director) to arrange the rhythm bed for some of our new songs. After he completes the arranging, we meticulously work to create the sounds that compliment each particular song. I am very pleased with the results.
