In general, those who make the choice to do selfless things always inspire me. Specifically, my wife companion of 37+ years inspires me almost daily. (And she doesn't even read this blog. :-)

Thanks for sharing that, Rick. It's difficult to know where to begin. If you don't count Biblical personalities, my mind goes quickly to Abraham Lincoln. His leadership under the most adverse circumstances is quite inspiring. In music, I immediately think of Paul McCartney and his amazing creativity. This is a very good question. - KL
