What a great weekend of singing and worship with the Heartland Church in Kansas City, Missouri!  Todd Truax is doing an outstanding job in the pulpit of this growing church family.




It was such a joy to spend time with these very special people as we quickly saw the great potential of this congregation.



Sharon and I were still pretty tired from the Brazil trip going into this weekend.  This church had spent a lot of time in learning the songs and preparing for the weekend, making it a wonderful experience.



I knew these folks were special when they laughed at my jokes.  (Was it because I'm so humorous or were they laughing out of pity?)  We were royally spoiled as they treated us to fine Kansas City dining, including the Hereford House, Granite City, Jade Restaurant and Jack Stack Barbecue.
