Ruby Princess Singers and Dancers

Sharon and I are enjoying our first experience with Princess Cruise Lines. Every cruise line seems to have unique features. I'm really enjoying the entertainment on the newest ship of the Princess fleet, the Ruby Princess. Their singers and dancers are doing a fabulous job!

Some of you may remember the title song for one of our children's albums, "Like My Daddy." (Didn't George Pendergrass write that song?) I thought of that song, because I want to be "like my daughter," Kim, as she is such an amazing photographer. As I snapped a lot of photos of this performance, I particularly liked the following composition:

I hope that those of you who would like to experience a cruise vacation get an opportunity in the future to make it happen. It is by far the favorite form of vacation for Sharon and me. Prices are at near all-time lows, so it's a good time to plan a trip. Better yet, I hope you plan to join us on our congregational singing cruise that I announced last week. Keith,

It looks like you are having a great time on the cruise with your A900! I looked at the gallery and was checking to see what lens you were using (must be the CZ 24-70) and then I saw that you were shooting with the A900. When did you take the plunge? I hope you were able to take advantage of the drop in price. I bought mine just a few weeks too early.

Anyway, great shots, as usual! I really like the lighting and composition of these shots.

Looking forward to Acafest in just a few weeks. In addition to my DSLRs, I will be bringing my newest addition to my camera lineup, a Leica D-Lux 4! This camera is a great little point and shoot. It is not a long lens, but it is wide (24-60) and has a 2.0 to 2.8 aperture, so it is fast. I'm having a lot of fun with it because it lets me be more discrete when I'm taking pictures.

Lynn and I have been on the Princess cruise line 3 times now I think,
and we are going on the 4th one in 3 weeks,
we are going to Alaska, inside passage, and taking the whole family
like you said, prices are really low, we got buy one get one free,
pretty cool deal.
we like Princess, and the more you travel with them, you start getting rewards,
and up-grades and better deals.
Since the first cruise we ever took, was with Acappella a few years ago,
it has become our very favorite type vacation too, and to think I had to
really beg Lynn to take that first trip I think we sailed on Norweigen, was it?
