Normally we do about 5-8 songs depending on if we have special music or any of our 4 choirs are singing (our 4 choirs are 2 kids choirs, 1 teen choir, and 1 adult choir)...this morning we had a lot of special music so our order is not what it always is.

our regular service layout is 9 songs...but a few sundays ago, because of a special occasion, we sang 30 songs! we did not sing all verses for some, but we did do that many songs! this was mixed with a lot of scripture reading and very little preaching - 1 to 2 minutes here and there throughout the service. the songs, verses and "mini" sermons all flowed together nicely. we had comments that it was one of the best services in a long time! if anyone is interested in exactly what we did or how we did it, please let me know and i can send you my notes for that sunday. Our theme for that day was "Give thanks to the Lord"
