Children can show us tremendous character. I have a very current example. We have been working on a Christmas program since September. There is a little girl in our program that has a solo. All eyes will be on her. Her mother was so pleased that she had the part. Sadly, Dec. 10th her mother died suddenly after an aggressive cancer diagnosed on Oct. 10th. She went to be with her Lord. Four young childrend and a loving husband were left behind. This little girl has resolved to carry through with the program. She has been such an inspiration to us and an example in courage. We have a concert tonight and tomorrow night.

If this gets out quick enough then maybe some of you could pray for our little soloist. I think the program is important for this precious child for many reasons. I know that your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Stacey, thank you for sharing the inspiring story of your little soloist. I was amazed by the young child who played the lead role in our Christmas drama last night (and again tonight.)

By the way, Allison won first place in the senior division of dramatic interpretation. Durant opened for the drama (which, by the way, was geared for "outreach.") With three of my children in Durant and with Allison's recent accomplishment, it's hard to keep me quiet. No telling how obnoxious I'll be when I'm blessed with grandchildren to brag about! :)

Our little girl did great at both programs and the applause was mighty. This truly has been a time to see our youth step up.
