I was invited to attend the Spirtual FEST 2007 in the Czech Republic, but unfortunately, was unable to go this year.  Marek Slechta sent me this link to pictures of this year's event.

Speaking of great singing, the Zoe Worship conference is taking place this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.  Although I'm not going to be there, Rhonda Coleson will be representing us at the Acappella Ministries table, as well as my son Anthony Lancaster, who will be taking in the outstanding class offerings.

The Zoe weekend has two segments: The general Worship Conference and the more intense Leadership Conference.  One of my favorite memories of Zoe is leading worship at the Leadership Conference, enveloped in a sound as if it were a convention of choir directors and professional singers.  Talk about an amazingly  electrifying sound!

One year, I was touched when they included "We Have Seen His Glory" in an evening session with a captivating interpretation.

Another favorite memory of the Zoe Conference was hearing Leonard Sweet, who was obviously mesmerized by the magic of a cappella congregational singing, asking to lead a song.  He looked like a "kid in a candy store" as he directed and held each note while everyone present followed his every direction.

What is your favorite Zoe memory?
