Believe it or not, the Illinois monument at the Vicksburg National Military Park. It's a large dome with smooth marble walls and ceiling that has a small opening at its apex. I know that Dallas / Fort Worth area has a lot of talented singers. I wonder where would be a great room, chapel or hall that is ideal for recording a cappella singing?

There is a room on the University of Indy that I have had the opportunity to sing in a couple of times. below is a quote from the web-site at http://arts.uindy.edu/spaces/. Indy is very centrally located for the Midwest and Ohio Valley. Easy to get to from anywhere. Just a thought.
Ruth Lilly Performance Hall

Now that I think about it, I believe I may have seen VU perform in that hall, back in the day when Heartland Conference was held on U of Indy campus. If that's the case, Gary M would possibly remember the room.
I think, at the time they were saying it was one of the most acoustically perfect rooms in the country.

I led worship for the Heartland conference and remember a wonderful time of congregational singing and outstanding worship one year - I wonder if that's the same place?

One of the best in the world is at Heritage church of Christ in Ft. Worth. John Gann is the worship leader. I'll help as much as possible from Burleson only 40 miles south.

If we only had 100 or so there is an ancient building in Osceola Texas that has never ending reverb that is pretty cool to sing in.

Let Me know what I can do to get this going. (I missed Nashville and Houston We know the songs and want to do them).

I'm not there anymore; but by far the best of C of C room for acoustics I've sung in is North Central's in Indy. This was the room I wrote about a few weeks ago. It would be a great place to record in.

You NEED to get to the NW. Go to the Portland area and you will find many singers and buildings. Hook up with Ike Graul and he will get the ball rolling.

North Central's auditorium was specifically designed (with acoustical help) for vocal performance. Steven Bruce (posted in the trail below) was part of the final design, and we have a member from the Indianapolis symphony who helps with the sound now. It is a pretty cool venue
