I am very glad that you are making the Praise and Harmony seminars a focus of your work for the Lord! Many of us have been blessed over the years listening to Acappella and related groups. Now many more will be blessed as you teach us to sing with our hearts! I pray that the Lord blesses you and your family as you devote yourselves to this ministry.

On a related issue, I would also be interested to learn about resources that we could use to improve their singing skills. I think that many of us are unlikely to take voice lessons, but perhaps we would listen to and work with a CD that included drills that could be done in the car or at home. For example, are there drills one could do to improve range or other skills that might improve our singing?

Does anyone know of a church that is helping their people learn to read music?

Maybe you could include a class at Acafest this summer where you would teach the same things you do in the Praise and Harmony Seminars - to teach those who do not know how to read music your easy method on how to read music, etc. Not sure if there would be enough present in this category or not but it is just a thought.

Also, when will you start registering for Acafest and will you have a listing of special rates at hotels in Nashville?

I will be teaching a Praise & Harmony class at Acafest, as well as the Tulsa Workshop this year.

Keith, is there any way you can teach any one who does not know how to read music using the internet? I am the only one in our congregation who have had any training in music and I try to teach what I know on the fourth Weds. sing night. Music was my minor at ACC ( you can tell how long ago that was ), but I only went two years. I have lead singing in congregations in TX, WS,KS, now in AR. I use a pitch pipe as I can't read shaped notes, thus the question.
