We were blessed to spend some time with the mayor of Texarkana and his wife.
There were memories from Acappella concerts dating back to the early 80's. I hope we are blessed to return to the Texarkana area again soon. I imagine an even larger crowd of worshippers will assemble to enjoy the congregational experience.
The Simmons Family worked so hard to pull all of this together.
These are the teachers/discussion facilitators who led the multiple classes that took place all day, beginning at 9:30 A.M., and concluding at 8 P.M. A youth track was featured with special songs with the teenagers. What a full and wonderful day! I wish you could have heard all the comments that were shared with me about how this day was so special. Anyone wish to comment?
