I like indoor, male cats. My husband doesn't like pets.

I'm definitely a pet person- specifically a dog person! Growing up we had a dog, except for maybe 2 years. We haven't had a pet since we've been married mainly because we go out of town a lot, and JP is a cat person (and I'm not!) This week I've been looking at a dog to adopt from a rescue/shelter. I prefer a combination of indoor/outdoor. :)

I grew up without pets for the most part. When my family had pets when living in the country, they were all outside pets. Now we have outdoor cats (after our children adopted a momma cat that provided us with kittens when we first moved to Nashville.) Some people are allergic to cats. I guess asking a question like this is similar to stirring the mixed reactions we would receive in talking about politics, religion, etc. - interesting, never the less. - KL

i love animals...especially dogs...cats are mean and useless however, and I could not care less if they went extinct. Pets belong outside though. They shed and poop and pee and stink up furniture, yeah they belong outside.
