Happiness is knowing Christ, our Lord. (I think that is an exact phase in a Keith Lancaster song "Happiness"). Happiness is having a clear conscience and knowing you are right with the Lord. Everything we have and everything we see and all the earthly accomplishments we obtain will soon perish. Happiness is doing the will of the Father, regardless of it's short-term pain or inconveniences. Happiness is knowing that we will have fellowship with the Lord and all the saved for eternity.
