My friend, Brandon Scott Thomas, served as the full-time worship minister for the Otter Creek Church for many years and now works for the Gary Musick Company. Among their many projects, Brandon does quite a bit of work with cruise ship entertainment; specifically, with singers and dancers.
Last week, our Praise & Harmony singing cruise sailed on board Norweigan's Spirit, which happened to be one of the ships that Brandon has worked with. We have seen many productions on numerous cruise ships, but this production was simply amazing! I have a whole new appreciation for the quality of Brandon's work and the Gary Musick Company.
The singer/dancer in yellow is a graduate of Nashville's Belmont University, a college in the spotlight this week as the host of the presidential debate. Incidentally, Brandon's company was contracted to work with the debate, as they are called upon to handle various special events.

Last night, Kimberly helped me to handle my first group photo shoot, as I captured group and individual shots of Durant for their upcoming Christmas album, A Very Durant Christmas. Sharon and Kimberly have boosted my confidence, as they were the driving motivation to prompt me to shoot the upcoming Holy God album cover. Holy God will be released in a few weeks.
Back to cruising - I hope many of you can join us for the premium trip to the Mediterranean in August of 2009. Spain, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece will be our countries of destination on this 12 day, once in a life time visit. As we plan our congregational singing times together, we make it a point to avoid conflicting with the ship's scheduled entertainment times so we can enjoy wonderful talent - as we did with the Spirit's singers and dancers.
