Every year, we try to plan a family trip around the holidays. This year, we chose to combine our trip with a singing workshop with a mission church.
We're covering a lot of ground.
Saturday we were in New York City, Sunday in New Jersey.
Monday in Philadelphia and Baltimore.
Today, we take on Washington D.C.
At this pace, it's difficult to upload my photos fast enough.

haha i bet
Brother, i've got to tell you - the other night i found an old clip of Acappella singing on the Gaithers Show and though i've heard him so many times before, i can't believe the voice of George Pendergrass. Though i'm certainly not an authority on music and what not, i still have to say - he has one of the absolute greatest voices ive ever heard. My favorite singers have voices distinctive and unique - where as soon as you hear them, you KNOW who it is. George has that kind of voice - I've never heard any voice exactly like his - so unique to my ears. But what i love most is his joyful spirit and how he pours every ounce of his being into his singing. They say that Marvin Gaye sang with so much passion he actually cried tears on stage in his concerts during a sadder song - he physically FELT every single note he sang and after seeing George i see the same thing. What a brother! And i know he would give all the glory to Christ. I dont know where on earth you find these guys...i'm glad you did! George Pendergrass...what a beautiful voice and an even beautiful Christian soul. |
