Yes, "Father" is the song. You are right - "The Victim" was one of the all-time favorites of AVB. - KL

I could name the song but that would not be fair. One thing I do know, there was a lot of pain (voice strain) in the chorus of that song.

I distinctly remember mixing that song and to this day, I can not listen to it without tears coming to my eyes.

My guess would be "Father". Probably my favorite AVB song. Especially Steve's version.

I'm guessing it'd be Father. Came out just as my own parents finalized their divorce. Still can't hear it tear free. Great song, powerful lyrics.

Over the years, we have received a lot of feedback on the power of songs. "Rescue" is perhaps the song by Acappella that is mentioned the most in this context. AVB's "Father" is another. - KL
