In the South, we'll fry almost anything. I caught this sign in Ashdown, Arkansas on Saturday.

Fried Green Beans are really good at TGI Fridays as well. They're a good substitute for french fries.

I tried the fried green beans at TGI Friday's and didn't care much for them. They also have fried mac & cheese.
I've also heard of fried dill pickles, but I don't like dill pickles to begin with, so I'll pass. In the UK, they fry Mars bars and Snickers bars, which doesn't sound too appealing to me either. Mexican style fried ice cream, on the other hand... Re: Fried Green What?

Down the street at Sonic, they serve fried macaroni and cheese. I haven't tried it. That just seems like your asking for a stress test!
My family enjoyed the weekend together with you and Sharon. Thank you for sharing yourself with us in Ashdown. -Amy Silva |
