Well let me give this a try. The song is mainly about the plane crash death of Buddy Holly, so that might be who you are looking for. Also, the "jester" is referred to quite often and I think that is suppose to be Bob Dylan. But, since you are from Tennessee, I think you are probably looking for the reference to the "king" which would be Elvis Presley - so were you looking for any of those as the answer?

On another sorta-related note, does anyone else find it strange/ironic that both Oklahoma City airports are named after people (Will Rogers, Wiley Post) who died in a plane crash? It's fine to honor people so that we don't forget them, but it seemed a little odd to me to do it as an airport name in their case.
