And there are many. At least the city is pretty high on the curve in offering services like training, transitional housing, etc. for the folks who want to improve their lot.

After living in San Francisco for many years, you never get used to the plight of the homeless. I do applaud many of the church leaders in the city for trying to make things better, but as with many large cities, most people turn a blind eye to the situation.
