By the way - Photo #1 features Mitch Wilburn of the Park Plaza church, leading a devotional at the 7:30 AM "Morning Praise" during the Pepperdine Lectures.  Photos #2, 3 and 4 were taken of Ken Nafziger of Harrisonburg, Virginia.  His series is entitled, "Singing With The Mennonites: Another A cappella Perspective."

As long as earthquakes, landslides or brush fires don't disrupt, it looks to be a pretty spectacular week here on Pepperdine's campus.  Although, with a predicted heat wave coming, Malibu may reach a high of 80 degrees on Thursday (80 degrees a heat wave?  Yeah, right.)  I'm leading worship for the morning praise devotionals in Stauffer Chapel at 7:30 with my friend, Mitch Wilburn, speaking.  Also on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I'll be teaching the Praise & Harmony workshops at the same location at 9:45 A.M.  On Thursday, I'll be leading the main morning session at 11:00.


Ken Young and Hallal did an excellent job of leading worship for the kickoff of the lectures last evening in the Firestone Fieldhouse.  Wednesday evening will be led by Brandon Scott Thomas and the Zoe group.  Todd Hall and Lighthouse will be leading worship on Thursday evening.  Ken Young and Hallal will close out the lectures by leading Friday evening.
